Enjoy your holiday in the central location of Cape Dauphin at the base of Kelly's Mountain, in a very private farmhouse. You will enjoy a view of the Bras D'or Lakes. The private beach and lake is about a 5 minute walk. If you like quiet, secluded and remote then this place is for you.

This property has access to a very private beach where you can walk for miles and not see anybody. From Cape Dauphin you can do all your day trips around the island. Down the road there is Kelly's wharf where you can fish for mackerel, buy fresh lobster (season is June 15th to July 15th), join in with the cottagers for a bonfire. Close by there is Bird Island boat tours, boat charters and whale watching. There is a world class golf course (Bell Buoy)in Baddeck (a 20 minute drive)and the Highlands National Park in Ingonish (60 minute drive). There are many hiking trails to explore all over the island. The Alexander Graham Bell Museum, and the Fortress of Louisbourg are only a short drive. This property is located 45 minutes from the Sydney airport, 30 minutes to North Sydney (grocery shopping) and 25 minutes to the town of Baddeck.
