ALL YEAR AROUND RETREAT: Whatever the season there is a great deal to do in and around Lake Elmore and Stowe. Outdoor or indoor activities are everywhere. Ski the slopes, read a book by the fire or watch your favorite team(win) a ball game on one of 4 Direct TVs. It's all here at the retreat in northern Vermont
Rural but near Shopping, antiques, movies: Equal distance (19miles) from great shopping and antiquing in either Montpelier or Stowe. Just 55 minutes to Burlington, which may be the best little city in America. There are 9 movie screens with 20 minutes of the retreat
Bring the dog: This is a dog friendly place. They love to race in the snow-and make you catch them. As long as the dog is well behaved, he/she is welcome.
Other Activities: All winter sports.
