This immaculate Cape Cod cottage is located on the Outer Cape, away from the huge summer crowds common to so many other destinations. Just a short stroll down our sandy, private lane will be your key to an unforgettable vacation. Only two blocks to a fresh water pond and barely a mile to the Atlantic Ocean and the famed Coast Guard Beach, activities surround you. Also, the National Seashore Visitor's Center and the Eastham Schoolhouse Museum are just a few blocks away. The cottage is equipped with everything from lobster pots to wine glasses. Amenities such as TV, cable, wireless internet, DVD, CD, and stereo will help those seldom rainy days pass with ease.

Take a quick bike ride along the National Seashore bike path to Coast Guard Beach and enjoy the sun and surf under the watchful eye of a national park lifeguard. Walk up the beach a few hundred yards and try your hand at surf fishing. Head to Nauset Light Beach (only 1/2 mile past Coast Guard Beach) and explore the 120-year-old lighthouse. Take a day to explore the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center and Minister Pond, only a short walk from your front step. If the spacious backyard does not provide enough space, walk down the sandy lane to the elementary school fields and enjoy a game of catch. After a long day relax on your spacious deck and enjoy a cookout on the gas grill, or maybe just a long hot outdoor shower and a quiet evening will be plenty. If cooking does not sound like a vacation, take a 1/4-mile drive up Route 6 and enjoy the numerous restaurants.

Further details about this cottage rental

Ocean Access: Coast Guard beach is the closest National Park Beach to our home. It is about a mile by car or bicycle via the main road and just slightly further via the bike trail. The bike trail is about a 3 mile round trip to Coast Guard Beach from our house.....you can pick up the bike trail at the Seashore Visitor center just a block from the house.

Guest Book: Cape Cod offers so much to do it would be impossible to list them all here, or maybe not doing anything suits you even more.
