Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Summer:Monday to Monday rental schedule. Check in is 3:00pm Monday. Check out is 10:00am Monday.
- To secure the reservation: 1/2 (one-half) the rent is due within 7 (seven) days of the reservation date. When the owner receives the reservation funds, the reservation will be held until close of business on the Friday preceding 30 days before check in. Cancellation: After a reservation is made, the reservation funds are non-refundable. If the owner re-books the home then the reservation funds may be refunded.
Final payment: The rental balance, including sales tax (11.5%), security deposit(s), cleaning fee, and remaining rent is due to the owner in full, no later than close of business on the Friday preceding 30 days before check in. For example: For a July 14th check in, the final rental balance is due to the owner no later than the close of business on June 13th. Time is of the essence. Cancellations can be hard to re-book at full price as the check in date approaches. Owner reserves the right to cancel reservations without a refund if full payment is not received on time. - How to compute rental cost: Base rental rate (above) + $100 Cleaning + 11.5% tax.
Example: a $900.00 base rate + $100.00 Cleaning + 11.5% Tax = $1,115.00 Total Cost.
There is a separate Fully Refundable Security Deposit (with no pets) = $500.00
OR - a separate Fully Refundable Security Deposit (with approved pet) = $650.00

- Three of the four main floor bedrooms have a 1/2 bath attached to the bedroom. The fourth bedroom shares the powder room with the great room. There are two dedicated rooms for bathing in the house. One is a tile shower with a hand shower and bench. The other is a tub/shower combination.

- One front bedroom on the main level has an extra large bathroom and roll in/out tile shower with bench for handicapped guests. Both front bedrooms on the main level open to the covered porch/deck. Three of the four main level bedrooms have their own dedicated 1/2 bath (toilet and sink). The fourth bedroom on the main level accesses the powder room from a separate entrance.

Why this home over others at Folly Beach?: This home was specifically designed for your vacation! The owner chose the lot and house plan with your family in mind. It's on the West side of Folly Beach where there's less traffic and noise, but only 2 1/2 blocks - easy walking distance - to the restaurants, shops, pier, etc., on Center Street. The home is 2nd row with an ocean view and direct access to the beach. We are PET FRIENDLY and have an ELEVATOR (great for easy unpacking and settling in after a long trip - or for any guest not able to climb stairs). The home is also great for anyone using a wheel chair, with extra wide doors to one master bedroom, bathroom and shower. And , unlike front beach and most 2nd row homes on Folly, this home has wonderful parking. There is room for 3 cars under the home and room for 5 more cars on the driveways. Also unusual for a Folly vacation rental is the fenced in back yard. It's shaded by the house - a great place for everyone to relax out of direct sunlight.
Sunbathing with sun burnt friends?: You'll love our sun and shade deck. It's large enough to spread out and get just the right tan. And the trees surrounding it add some nice privacy from street traffic. For guests who had a little too much sun the day before, the covered part of the deck provides welcome relief. Hang out on the patio furniture or in the hammock and recuperate without missing any of the conversation!
