The Guest House is located at Viking Nordic Center. In the summer a 3 acre wildflower meadow with a huge raised deck offers a great Southern view of the Green Mountains, including Stratton Mountain. The house is immediately surrounded by landscaped grounds which include a small pond. An in ground (unheated) pool is located near the meadow and deck, beyond which the trail system rolls through densely wooded Vermont countryside. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and an L-shaped living area with a fireplace and French doors opening onto a fieldstone patio and the backyard. Two of the bedrooms have private bath and a third bathroom is in the upstairs hall. In the winter you have access to the Nordic center's 35Km on groomed cross country ski and snowshoe trails. Renter's receive complimentary trail passes. Please note the check in / check out day on this property is Friday.

The Guest House is 1 mile from Londonderry shopping 20 minutes from Manchester, and 6 miles from Weston. Also 20 minutes from Stratton and Okemo ski areas, 10 minutes from Bromley Mountain and the summer Fun Zone, and 5 minutes from Magic Mtn. The 70 acre property includes 12 km of private trails for summer and fall use and ski passes for each house guest for the 35 km cross country ski trail system during the winter. In the summer and fall, guests can fill their days without ever leaving the house's grounds -- playing in the large yard, swimming in the pool, flying kites in the meadow, or watching the sun set over the Green Mountains from the raised deck in the meadow. And of course, walking, running, or biking over the private trail network. The Appalachian Trail and Long Trail are nearby, Lowell Lake State Park is 1/2 mile away for canoeing, and there many great options for kayaking and fishing. Miles of Vermont back roads are great for long bike rides, runs, or drives.

Rate information for this Londonderry house rental

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $850/weekend, $850-$1600/week, $2500/month
  • Summer:
    $850/week (Friday to Friday)

    Winter (includes cross country ski passes at Viking Nordic):
    $850/non- holiday weekend (Friday-Saturday).
    $1250/holiday weekend (3 day Friday-Monday).
    $1350/week (non-holiday--Friday-Friday).
    $1600 holiday week (Friday-Friday).
    Monthly rates available.

    Season $12,000. 4 month rental, dates are flexible starting after Thanksgiving (Seasonal rental includes trail passes at the Nordic center, plowing, Internet, cable television and electric and small stocking of firewood. Oil heat, additional wood and phone are the responsibility of the renter. Back up heat source is a wood stove.)
  • Extended weekend rates: additional days $300 first day $200 each additional day.

  • The blue and green room have private baths, the green room bath has a tub/shower, the blue room has a shower stall. The other two room share a bathroom off the main hall. This bathroom has a shower stall. The yellow room has a trundle bed which is set up as a twin, the trundle part can pull out to become another twin or lifted up to make a queen size bed. This bed would have two separate mattresses next to each other.

Manchester, with lots of outlet and boutique shopping, endless dining options, museums and galleries is an easy 15 minute drive. There are many children's entertainment options from farm tours to Bromley's Fun Zone including the world famous Alpine Slide. In the winter, cross country ski or snowshoe out the door on the groomed trail network or downhill ski or snowboard at Stratton, Okemo, Bromley, or Magic.
