Private Beach: We are located on the lake. You can sit on our deck and enjoy the view of the water while watching your children play in the water or swim. A canoe is available on the property with 2 paddles that are kept under the bed. There is a small public beach located next door if your children want to play with other guests at Eidelweiss. There is a buffer between our beach and the public beach to maintain privacy. The water on our beach is shallow enough for small children yet suitable for swimming for adults.
Activities for Children: Storyland is about 20-25 minutes north on Route 16. There is a nearby playground for children on Eidelweiss Drive.
Adult Activities: There are local newspapers available that describe activities in the area. The best papers are the Conway Daily News and the Mountain Ear. There are numerous golf courses in the area. In North Conway there is Hale and the North Conway Country Club. Jackson has Wentworth and Eagle Mountain. Going South there is Indian Ridge in Ossipee. We usually play there on the way home.
Ski: King Pine located in Madison is the closest ski area. It is good for beginning skiers. Cranmore mountain in North Conway is about 20 minutes away and Attitash about 25 minutes.
Other Activities: Childrens' playground about 50 yards away
