It has over 310 feet of lake front on about one acre in a private gated residential area called Camp Andrews which borders thousands of acres of 'forever wild' Adirondack Forest Preserve. This waterfront home was originally a summer camp which was rebuilt over 40 years ago to expand the living area and make it into a year round residence. It was named 'Dawn O'Day' because of its great sunrises but it also has the most stunning sunsets on the Lake. It is a perfect place for individuals or families who like privacy while enjoying breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains - all only steps away. Swim, dive, bird watch, hike, water-ski, play golf or simply relax at the 'Queen of American Lakes' Lake George and experience the charming setting of 'Dawn O'Day.'

Comfortable Accommodations: The main floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed, dressers, nightstand w/phone and large closet. The bathroom on this floor has a tub and shower. The den that adjoins the living room area has an additional single bed, writing table, dressers and closet and can be closed off for complete privacy. The lower level bedroom has two double beds with a window that looks on to the Lake. All bedrooms have ample storage for clothing in dressers and there is plenty of closet space. Utility closets on the main level of the house contain all of the cleaning supplies and equipment that you will need to maintain this self-catering property. An iron and ironing board are also provided. The washer, dryer and toilet are in the laundry room on the lower level. Extra storage is available for toys or other items. Although the house stays comfortable on those hot summer days fans are provided.

Old Style Adirondack Charm: The knotty pine interior of the home makes it truly a warm and inviting place. Both levels of the home have commanding views of the lake which is just a few feet away from the house. The main floor has one bedroom, open living-dining and kitchen area, a screened porch just off the kitchen, bath with tub and shower, and den with an additional single bed. There is a television w/cable on this and the lower level. The lower level living area has a stone fireplace and plenty of room for the family to stretch out and relax. The kitchen on the main floor comes fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster and all of the pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils you need to make any meal. Lower level living room has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, couch and chairs, stereo, television w/VCR and table with four chairs that can be used for playing games, during art projects or informal meals.

Golf: You will find 15 public Adirondack gold courses totally 111 hoes within a 15 mile radius. Golfers return to this area year after year to play. If you like the challenge of long narrow fairways, tricky doglegs and bunkered greens then try The Sagamore, Hiland Park, Kingswood or Brookhaven golf courses. The Queensbury Country Club, Tee Bird and Cronin's golf courses offer a slightly more forgiving yet challenging round of play. The Top of the World golf course for golfers of all ages. Beginners and young adults will enjoy the very relaxed pitch and putt fairways of The Sunnyside Par Three golf course. Green Mansions Motel and 1,000 Acres Ranch offer their own golf courses.
