Our home, ideal for hosting Family and friends, is situated on an invitingly tranquil acre with Ocean Views that captivate the soul! The Quarterboard out front aptly expresses what you will experience here. It reads: Pax et Quies, Latin for Peace and Quiet. Once inside you will find a beautiful and spaciously designed home, featuring a brand new KItchen! Watch the shimmering colors of the sea from a breathtaking vantage point! The interior of the home revolves around a large Living Room providing the framework for an incredible floor to cathedral ceiling Fireplace. Our Kitchen has recently been remodeled by the premier Cabinetmaker on the Cape. Sit back, and enjoy a sumptuous meal while savoring the View! Four bedrooms, two on each wing of the home, beckon weary Guests at day's end. A private Den is adjacent to the Kitchen. The finished Basement has a great Gameroom with Pool Table, Bar, and Stereo. Also included: Washer, Dryer, Iron, and Garage with Automatic Openers.

Our Pristine Acre Lot

Our sprawling Acre has trails, a huge Sports Field, large Picnic Table, and a fantastic Hammock. Nantucket sunsets and invigorating salt air are the norm here! Enjoy an outdoor Dinner, chase rabbits, or watch the romantic Chatham fog roll in on a Summer's eve. Stroll down to our Saltwater Dock ...... a child's paradise! Grab the crab nets and minnow traps. Launch a sailboat or kayak onto Nantucket Sound. The Dock, just steps away, is a very popular place, known affectionately to the neighbors as Buck's Creek Yacht Club. Chatham has some of the finest beaches anywhere on the East Coast! Its position on the Cape is unique in that it is bordered by three bodies of water: Atlantic Ocean, Nantucket Sound, and Pleasant Bay. Water sports abound! In fact, you may walk to Hardings Beach from our home. A short 1.5 mile drive brings you to three freshwater ponds. Schoolhouse Pond is a huge hit with kids and parents. The Cape Cod Rail Trail (biking) is a mile from our doorstep!

Celebrating All of Chatham's Seasons

Our home is available all year 'round for each of Chatham's wonderful Seasons! Summer, of course, is the busiest time, but more and more folks have discovered Chatham as the 'Destination of Choice' for Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Things are less hectic then ...... when you can enjoy 'having Chatham all to yourself'. Fall days remain warm, the Ocean takes on a bright shade of blue, and the Colors of Autumn are a virtual Photographer's delight! Perhaps you and your Family/friends will choose to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas By-The-Sea. This prettiest of Cape Cod towns is vibrantly exciting during this magical time of the year. The warmth and glow of the Thanksgiving and Yuletide Seasons permeate this seaside Village as shoppers scurry through Chatham's festively decorated Shops & Boutiques in search of that Treasured Gift for a Family member or that 'Someone Special'. Chatham's annual 'Christmas Stroll' and 'Bed & Breakfast Tours' are fast becoming legendary!

Holiday Merriment In Chatham

Unquestionably, the Holiday atmosphere in Chatham is electric --- reminiscent, perhaps, of one's own cherished childhood memories. The Village of Chatham also has a terrific celebration on New Years Eve called 'First Night'. Our home is a wonderful marriage of hospitality and affordability! One of the truly cherished pastimes here is 'Harvesting the Quiet'. In fact, timing Dinner so it coincides with the Ocean Sunset is practically a ritual. Our goal, as your Hosts, is quite simple: We strive to overlook nothing; you, as our Guests, overlook everything! Maybe one of the best ways to unwind here is with a knife & fork! Locally caught Lobster is, not unexpectedly, widely enjoyed at this Home By-The-Sea. All the implements for a Lobster Feast are found here in abundance. With Family & Friends, it might be just the right time to succumb to that perfect Chardonnay! Our Home is absolutely ideal for Family Reunions, and a romantic spot to discover the restorative powers of History, Salt Air, Sea, and Sand. As a recent Guest explained, 'your Home is two parts Luxury and one part Flip Flops ........ so much is done for us as Guests, that's why we love coming here'. Words we, as Owners, cherish hearing!
