Summer golfing fun nearby!: For you golfers this is a great location to access nearby golf courses. The Eagle mountain house is just 5 minutes away in Glen and offers 9 holes of golf with stunning views of the White mountains. Their phone number is 603-383-9111. Also about 5 minutes away in Jackson is the Wentworth golf club 18 hole course which is open to the public. The creme de la creme golf course is the Mount Washington golf course with its stunning views of Mount Washington and the surrounding peaks. Located in Bretton woods about 30 minutes from the house, this golf course is awesome! In North Conway, barely 15 minutes away by the North Conway train station Hale's location golf course with its wonderful views of the Saco river valley, Cathedral and Whitehorse ledge.. Needless to say there are other golf courses in the area so there are numerous choices.
Summer fun for the family!: During the summer we equip the house with a swingset for the kids along with a kiddy pool, and a 3 seater lounger swing. Because of the great location of this house, you are only 10-15 minutes to some sandy beach areas along the Saco river for some fun and safe swimming. The river is very calm and it is a nice place for sun and fun. 10 minutes away is Echo lake state park with its breathtaking views of Cathedral ledge and Whitehorse ledge along with the Saco river valley and offers swimming in the lake, picnicking (picnic tables), bath house, most of the time lifeguards are on duty. Mountain hiking of all types is close by and canoe trips on the Saco river are near.
