Shore Acres Cottage is located between Ellsworth and Bar Harbor, nestled on the edge of pristine Acadia National Park. The beach and picnic area is an enjoyable three-minute walk from the cottage along a wooded country road. The state park, with boat dock and launching area, is only one half mile north of the cottage.
The cottage is fully insulated and has a monitor furnace and an electric hot water heater for your year-round comfort. The cottage is supplied with linens, blankets and beach chairs. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed; the other has twin-size bunks.

There are grocery stores, shopping malls, banks, an assortment of nationally known restaurants, as well as excellent local eateries and local specialty stores. Bar Harbor is approximately a 20 mile drive and Bangor about 37 miles.
