Gathering Place: This setting is an ideal venue for wedding parties, corporate retreats, family reunions or intimate gatherings. The Winter Palace is perfect for relaxing and gracious entertaining, with a beautiful English paneled dining room, a large brick patio adorned with flowers, and a fabulous screened-in porch with open deck areas on either side for lounging. We also have a 2 bedroom cottage, with beautiful outdoor fire pit. Please inquire about availability.
Remodeled South Wing: The newly remodeled South Wing features a cozy reading room warmed by a stone fireplace and buttery leather furniture, 2 elegant country bedrooms off a conservatory hallway with skylights, mahogany wood floors, and tiled bathrooms. Window seats provide comfortable reading nooks with bucolic views.
North Wing: The North Wing offers a spacious Great Room with a vaulted ceiling and hand-hewn beams. Leonard Bernstein once played piano in this room when the Boston Symphony Orchestra used to rent the house during their summer residence at Tanglewood. Antiques and comfortable country furnishings give the house the quality of a classic New England inn.
