Le Sable Rose is truly unique among the vacation rentals in Eleuthera. First of all, it is ON the beach. Second of all, it is the only house on the entire deserted beach, which is very rare in Eleuthera. True, there are finer, and bigger houses on the island, but none has a better location. In addition, the beach, especially to the south, is a great jogging and walking beach. You can stroll or jog about five miles south, on Double Bay beach, which is almost always empty. The sand is hard packed in most places for great jogging. And when you get tired, you just jump into the warm, gin-clear water, before continuing on. There are nearby offshore reefs, so you can easily snorkel, and if experienced, as some renters have been, you can catch lobsters, as well as spear other edible fish, like grouper.

A good way to check locations of a vacation rental is to go to Google Maps, and locate it. If you do this with le Sable Rose, you can see how unique the location is; lots of empty beach, both north and south. The beach itself is a half-moon, pink sand beach, ringed with palm trees. There is a coconut palm forest to the immediate south of the house. Unique Village, a fine restaurant, is just 2 miles away, and Mate and Jenny's, one of the favorite pizza places on the island is about 4 miles away. Joe's is about 5 miles away, and Tippy's is about 6 miles away.
