Ski: Whiteface Mt., near Lake Placid and Titus Mt., near Malone are about 3/4 to 1 hour away. Titus MT. offers big mountain skiing lift ticket prices that are much less than the more well known areas.
Golf: Several regulation courses are located nearby ( from 3/4 to 1 hour drive) near Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Plattsburgh, and Malone.
