From Key Colony's own private beach, you can walk to the old lighthouse in Bill Baggs State Park, considered one of the top beaches in the USA. Tennis lessons are available at Key Colony's own tennis courts or at the famous Lipton tennis center. Sail and paddle boat rentals are available from the beach at the nearby 5 star hotel. Bike, wind surfer, large boat and fishing boat rentals are available on the Key. The island also has a beautiful public golf course and excellent restaurants. The Miami Sea Aquarium is 5 minutes away. Lively Coconut Grove for shopping and night life or historic Coral Gables are 15 minutes away and South Beach(Miami Beach) is 20-25 minutes away. All of Miami's sights are easily accessible, but you can return each day to your island paradise on Key Biscayne.
