Clean mountain chalet (built in 1990) with nice view in private community. Peaceful, perfectly quiet surroundings on1-acre property, only 5 minutes from town. Vaulted ceiling in cozy, wood-paneled living/dining room. Attached garage with automatic opener. Large bedrooms, bathrooms with skylights. (Master bedroom with own bathroom.) Wrap-around covered deck with table, chairs and hammock. Nearby activities and attractions: waterfalls, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, gem mining, many antique and crafts shops. Franklin offers four public golf courses, two are located within 10 minutes from our home. 35 minutes from Cherokee Indian Village and Appalachian Trail. 25 minutes from arts- and- crafts community Dillsboro, where you can take mountain excursions with old-time train. 1 hour to Asheville with world-famous Biltmore Estate and Gardens.
