Frigiliana and Nerja: The famous mountain village of Frigiliana with its narrow cobbled streets, shops, bistros and whitewashed houses is only 2.5 km away. The village has been awarded the title of the prettiest village in Spain several times.The town of Nerja is 10km away with its 5 beaches and beach restaurants and water sports facilities. There is the famous Balcon de Europa over looking the sea and a wide range of shops and restaurants. It has winding streets with attractive squares, cafes, shops, banks, tapas bars and discos. The Nerja area boasts the best climate in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine a year.
Local facilities: There are 3 golf courses to choose from, one only a 20 mins drive. One of the main attractions are the Nerja caves with the longest stalactites in the world in the village of Maro, a 5 mins drove from Nerja. Snow skiing at Sierra Nevada is 1.45hr drive away.
