Activities available in the area:: Basin Harbor Club has an 18 hole golf course. For the private flyer there is also a 3200' public use turf airstrip located at Basin Harbor Club. Burlington is 30 miles away. Church Street is a cobblestone street with great restaurants and shopping. Burlington is the home of the Vermont Expos. This is a fun family night out. Some other local attractions are the Shelburne Museum, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum and the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. Middlebury is a quaint college town with several fine restaurants and shopping. There is also a new Lake Champlain Bikeway that runs around the entire lake. You can go for a hike on Snake Mountain, it really is worth the beautiful view of the Adirondacks. Vergennes is 7 miles away and has a couple of great restaurants and shopping.
