About our home: More photos available upon request. We hope you will be as happy staying here as we are to present it. We are very particular about the decor. We decorate our home to touch the mood of the season. The house has a wonderful old fashioned porch with wicker furniture to sip a cup of coffee or just relax on. There is the typical Vermont mud room to enter and shake off the outside. We have a den with a wood burning stove for heat. The house is truly in an area to access all that Vermont has to offer. You can actually walk to our local Mary's cafe for breakfast or lunch. Save money by eating at home. You can walk to the supermarket or movies.
Places to go: You have day trip access to Saratoga Race track and casino and Lake George in N.Y. Many natural wonders e.g. Queechee gorge and the Birds of prey nature center. Winter sports are everywhere. Skiers have a vast choice of areas to access rather than stuck at one. There are snowmobile trails nearby and dog sled rides in the area. Killington is the ski giant with enough trails to keep most everyone busy. Stop in Rutland for restaurants galore and not at the resort prices or crowds. Rutland has it all. Golfers love the rolling hills of the picturesque golf courses
