Information about this farmhouse rental in Vershire

The 'Vershire House' is our circa 1804 eclectically restored farmhouse that we offer for rental only a few weeks per year. The house is beautifully situated overlooking a 5 acre meadow and a private swimming pond. Off the beaten track, but within 30 minutes of Dartmouth College, Barre/Montpelier and the Dartmouth Skiway. Killington, Sugarbush and Stowe are about 60 minutes drive. Lakes Morey and Fairlee are close by, as well as our little favorite, Miller Pond. Trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing begin at our back door. We've had guests to the Vershire House since 1999, so feel free to ask for references!

Notes: No pool, but private pond. Telephone calling card needed for all calls outside of Vermont. 'Child's Bed' is a large window seat (large enough for an adult!). One child size bicycle. Dogs are welcome! (no cats, sorry).
