Near Green Mountain Horse Assoc., VT Assoc. of Ski Travelers (snowmobiling) trails & 4 ski areas - Killington (40 miles), Ascutney (8 miles), Okemo (30 miles) & Suicide Six (8 miles). 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (shower & whirlpool bathtub). Airy basement for additional 'campers'. Cathedral ceiling in the living room with glass front soapstone wood stove & oil heat. Dining room table looks out on the woods. Large deck overlooking brook. Newly renovated kitchen with addition of cabinets, counter space and dishwasher! Nicely appointed cabin and fully furnished with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, linens, towels, washer/dryer, DVD/VCR/CD player, Direct TV. Board games, and 2 bicycles provided. 2 stall barn and paddock. 7 mi. off I-91. Located on a dirt road and only 5 miles from the town of Woodstock. Pets welcome. Only 5 miles from the lovely village of Woodstock with quaint stores, historical buildings, covered bridges and numerous quality restaurants and brewery tours at both Long Trail and Harpoon. Close to golf courses and several ski areas (both alpine and cross-country) ,snowshoeing and on the VAST snowmobile trails. Fly fishing available in nearby Quechee. The nearby Connecticut River offers opportunities for both fishing and canoeing. The Quechee Gorge is nearby which attracts visitors from near and far. Windsor, VT only 5 mi. away - the birthplace of VT which also has the Cornish Museum of art. Close to NH sites of interest like St. Gaudens National Park.

Ski: Alpine skiing available at Ascutney Mtn.(10 min.), Suicide Six,(15 min.) Okemo (half hour drive) and Killington (45 min. drive). Cross-country skiing at Ascutney and Okemo and also at the Woodstock Ski Touring Center and in Hartland on local trails (free).
