The floor plan is perfect for two couples or for families, with its duplex-like arrangement. First floor has a great room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, while the 'lighthouse' section has a second great room with kitchenette, master bedroom, and bath. Four balconies/decks offer both privacy and the best views on the Outer Banks! Soundside is wonderful for young children while the older children and adults will enjoy 'riding the waves'! Duck is known for its abundance of unique, quality boutiques, so save some days for shopping. Outlet shopping is just down the road at Tanger Outlet, featuring The Gap, Bass Shoes, London Fog, Corning housewares, and many others. Eating out is always a treat, with gourmet restaurants featuring seafood for family cuisine as well as fine dining for the adults. Exercisers will be thrilled by the extensive biking, running, and walking paths and trails. Historic sites abound - the Wright Memorial, the Elizabethan Gardens, 'The Lost Colony' theatre - or visit Hatteras Island and spot a 'singing' Swan or an Osprey, or study the constellations under a clear sky.
