English Mountain Llama Treks offers day hikes and longer expeditions in Pisgah National Forest, including treks in the Max Patch area. Finally, if you're planning a winter vacation, be sure to bring your cross country skis. Max Patch Mountain offers some of the most beautiful and challenging cross country ski trails anywhere. There's also plenty of sledding for both the young and young at heart.
