Our home is situated on a quiet second row street. We are positioned with open lots both front and back, so views are plentiful. Beach access is optimal. Holden Beach is situated 40 minutes South of Wilmington and 45 miles North of Myrtle Beach. It is a short drive to historic Southport, NC and the ferry to Bald Head Island, as well as other coastal North Carolina attractions.
This is a small, well appointed two bedroom duplex just across the street from a direct beach access. There are two bathrooms and a pull out sofa, so this home can accommodate 6 people. Beach chairs, beach toys, and other amenities are available for your use. Porches allow for your private relaxation in and out of the sunshine. An outside shower keeps the summer heat away.
Holden Beach is 'sleepy' with 2 and 3 story homes and little commercial activity on island. From our home it is an easy bike ride to the store for provisions, daily newspaper or fresh fish for dinner. In the summer there are often weekly events sponsored by the Town of Holden Beach.
Golf: Conveniently located and close to spectacular beaches, there are many courses within a 10mile radius, including Lockwood Folly and The National. The Big Cats of Ocean Ridge Plantation are close by, as well. All three of these Cats made Golf Digest’s recent list of the Top 50 Courses of Myrtle Beach and the challenging Tiger’s Eye® ranked #3.
