Big Bear Lodge has been built as a luxury Adirondack Lodge. The Fall Foliage is spectacular. Our beautiful quarter mile of lake front features a sandy beach. Effley Falls Reservoir is part of the Beaver River Canoe Route. Enjoy the serenity of the lake or take on the whitewater upriver. Take a boat out for fishing or just exploring the many coves and beaches on the lake. We have outdoor grills, a big outdoor fire pit, and plenty of firewood. The lodge has a Great Room with a beautiful stone fireplace, leather furniture, and surround sound stereo with XM Satellite Radio. It also has a flat screen TV with DirecTV, and a library of G, PG, and R rated movies. Our kitchen features new stainless steel appliances and a table that seats ten. The bedrooms and baths are well appointed and very clean. The second floor bedroom has a fantastic view of the lake and an outside balcony. We have some nice hiking trails, and you'll see plenty of wildlife
