Also upstairs is a formal dining room w/air conditioner, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, & screened porch for late night card games & relaxing conversation. Downstairs has a family room w/fireplace, 2 bedrooms (one w/2 twin beds, the other w/ twin trundle set), a bathroom w/shower, TV w/cable & VCR & a door to the patio with gas BBQ grill, table and chairs. The home is located just north of the famous monolithic Roger's Rock on Lake George and near Cook's Mt. Preserve w/hiking

Located in the NE Adirondacks, the town of Ticonderoga is apx. 2 hours north of Albany, NY and within 1.5 hours south of Burlington, VT international airports. The village of Lake George is apx. 45 miles to the south offering shopping malls, waterparks, fireworks during summer evenings, movie theaters and more recreational activities. A public golf course is within 5 minutes from this home at Roger's Rock and there are tennis courts available there and in the town itself at the Bicentenial Park, home of the Best Fourth in the North fireworks on July 4, at 10 pm. The northern end of Lake George offers a quieter vacation experience with less traffic, less crowds and more freedom of movement. The town beach is apx. 10 minutes away and has lifeguards on duty during the daytime & picnic areas to enjoy lunch or a BBQ. Shopping in town includes local businesses where there is a laundrymat, WalMart Super Center open 24/7, and hiking Cook's Mountain Preserve is just steps away from this home
