Since the mid-1800's the Barnegat Lighthouse, on the north end of the island, has offered a beautiful aerial view of the Barnegat Bay, with its busy inlet for fishing, sport and sail boats enhancing the nautical experience. The south end of the island is lined with Victorian guest houses and even a small, off-Broadway, theatre. This shore community, with its small-town flavor, is full of amusements and shopping for families. Fine dining establishments, local fish/seafood houses and even an active nightlife welcomes our guests.
