Guest Book: Many cultural activities are available nearby, such as Barnstormers (the oldest summer theatre in America), the NH Music Festival, Great Waters Music Festival, Currier Gallery of Art, Lakes Region Summer Theater and others. Two well known colleges within a close distance are Dartmouth and Plymouth State. Three awesome cities that are a 1 - 1 1/2 hour car ride away are Portsmouth, NH located on the seacoast; Portland, Maine; and the state capital of NH, Concord. Winter sports: 10 alpine ski areas within I hour drive; cross country skiing on lake and trails; snowmobiling, skating. Snow plowing included in rental. I work at a NH Visitor's Center, so I have left a plethora of current tourist information to help acquaint visitors to this area
