Perched over the Town of Jackson, NH, this remarkable 19th Century Victorian Castle was built in 1891 for General Wentworth and his wife. The castle was designed to be reminiscent of an English manor house complete with two conical turrets. While made completely of stone on the outside with walls several feet thick, the inside of the Castle is a quintessential example of the very best of Victorian design and workmanship.
Located directly across the street from the Wildcat River and Jackson Falls, the Castle sits largely hidden among almost two private acres. With mountain views, and just a stroll down the hill to the center of Jackson, the entire setting seems like a 'Currier & Ives' painting come to life.
