The bottom floor is not heated or insulated for winter use so then you would have just the bedrooms on the main floor for Winter season. This floor is fully heated and insulated seperate from the downstairs (propane heat, and wood stove available)

Summer Activities: You can enjoy swimming, boating, snorkeling or fishing in Crystal Lake. There are other nearby lakes and rivers to visit as well. Area attractions include, but not limited to - the Quechee Gorge and Montshire Musuem. Bring your golf clubs, there are several nearby golf courses to enjoy.
Winter Activities: Snowmobiling right from the house, ice fishing, ice skating, cross country skiing, as well as many options for skiing Whaleback - approx 13 miles Ascutney Mountain, VT - approx 40 miles Mt. Sunapee, NH - approx. 25 miles Killington Mountain, VT - approx. 50 miles Okemo Mountain, VT - approx. 60 miles - Just to name a few!! or just sit by the wood stove and warm up with a good book!
