Blaisdell Lake: Blaisdell Lake is about 2 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. It is wonderful for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing ,water skiing fishing, sitting on your dock enjoying the loons, and the blue heron; or just floating . You will see the baby fish through the clear lake water, and your sandy swimming area, watch damselflies and dragonflies dance through the air. This lake water is one of the cleanest and clearest in the State of New Hampshire. If you like to fish, just throw out a line, you will most likely catch a bass, perch, pickerel, and sometimes even a hornpout, the fishing is excellent. You will also want to sit out on the dock at night and see the beautiful stars, and in August the meteor showers. There are a rowboat, paddleboat and canoe for you to explore the lake. The lake has a combination of cottages and protected forest. Most of the families on the lake have been here for generations. It is a very special place. There are many deciduous trees so the fall foliage is lovely.

The property: On this gorgeous property the Damselfly Cottage is perched only 10 yards from the water's edge. It is located on 3 diverse acres, with the owner's cottage that shares the property, 225 feet of waterfront and and driveway. On either side of the cottages are woods. Between the cottage and the road is a large field with a standard sized horseshoepit, and woods. Would you like your own dock, hammock, picnic area overlooking the lake? And how about lovely flower gardens, or a mediation bench to help you relax your body and soul? If you just want to curl up with a good book, the daybed on the porch or the hammock, will certainly do the trick. For little ones, a separate sandy beach is very nearby that the members of the lake association share.
