Boating: Duxbury Bay is the best boating and fishing area on the south shore. If you trailer your boat you may launch it at Duxbury Marina, 3 miles from the house by car and half a mile by water to our beach. You may anchor your boat overnight in front of the beach. At low tide it rests on the sandy flats. Duxbury Bay is a mostly closed body of water with one wide opening to Cape Cod Bay so we do not get the large ocean swells. On rough days we get 1-2 foot white caps only and you can always find calm coves or tidal rivers to explore.
Kayaking: Kayakers have discovered that it does not get any better than paddling around Duxbury Bay. You can spend a week and still not explore it all.

Golf: North Hill is the public course in Duxbury. Other public courses in adjacent towns of Plymouth, Marshfield and Pembroke
