Take the family to First Encounter Beach or one of the other Bay or Ocean Beaches in Eastham (Visitor Beach Stickers can be obtained ahead of time- http://www.eastham-ma.gov/Public_Documents/EasthamMA_Recreation/visitormailer08.pdf or visit the Beach Sticker Office when you arrive: http://www.eastham-ma.gov/Public_Documents/EasthamMA_Recreation/stickeroffice Hike the Fort Hill Nature Trail, just minutes away. Other trails in the National Seashore and in the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Mini-golf minutes away. Wellfleet Cinemas and historic Drive-in with famous flea market on weekends. Orleans has family-friendly Skaket Beach just minutes away on the Bay and Nauset Beach on the ocean side. Eastham has restaurants to choose from (see Guestbook) as do the adjoining towns of Wellfleet and Orleans.
