- Built in 1915, for decades the Point House had only one bathroom, which was located on the main floor off the south hall. When we renovated we wanted to keep the same old Cape feel so we left the pedestal tub in that bathroom and added a full bath to the basement area and a half bath in the attic. In warm weather most people choose to use the spacious outdoor shower located near the kitchen door and protected from the cold north wind.

Further details about this house rental
Weddings/special events: The Point House, with its broad, flat lawns and water views, is ideal for weddings and special events. A wedding held there in the fall of 2006 was featured in 'Cape Cod Life' in the May 07 issue. If you pay attention to the tides, you can get married on the beach and have the reception under a tent on the front or either of side yards. All have water views. We rent by the week. We require that all wedding and special event activities be held outside and be over by 10:30 p.m. There is the potential to park cars on the property, but weddings can be no larger than 140 people due to parking issues.
