- A large wall air conditioner plus the master bedroom air conditioner can cool off the entire house, if necessary, while each room has its own fan, too (ceiling or floor). (But it's best when there's a nice ocean breeze, and you open up all the windows....) The master bedroom has its own full bath, while the two smaller queen-sized bedrooms share a separate full bath in a separate part of the house. Each area feels private. The master bedroom also has a sliding door that opens onto the back deck facing the woods, and the outdoor shower on that deck really becomes everyone's favorite place to wash off after a swim!

Late Summer: Busy but still gorgeous, high traffic on Route 6 through Labor Day is tempered by this home's easy access to a traffic light, which is absolutely necessary during the summer month of August!
Shoulder months (September/October): Blessedly quiet, Cape Cod is still warm (sometimes hot!) during the shoulder-season days but has those cool New England nights--great sleeping weather! Perfect for a 1-6 week rental getaway.
Winter: There is a spare and stark beauty to Cape Cod in the winter, perfect for a writer or a lengthy hideaway from the rest of the world.
