This attractive home is situated on Parker Farm Rd. (dead-end) in Somesville with a view of Somes Sound Harbor. With its bright interior and attractive art, this home is sure to please!
First Floor: New gourmet kitchen with fireplace, large screened in porch with outdoor fireplace is off the kitchen. A separate dining room facing south has French doors opening to a covered porch with lawn and woods. Off the dining room is a small library. The living room has a gas fire place, piano and large glass doors opening to the north porch with views of Somes Sound Harbor. The spacious master bedroom has a King size bed (tempurpedic) and a water view, full bathroom with whirlpool tub with separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and wooded view. A separate entry private bathroom with shower is new this year!
Ground Floor: Large cheerful room with french doors and water view, with screened wood stove. TV/VCR/DVD/CD/Radio/satellite/ mini-frig/ bar sink.

Meadowsedge is located in the center of Mt. Desert Island with short commutes to the various outdoor and indoor activities the region has to offer. Acadia National Park as well as the ocean, lakes, ponds, mountains, hiking trails, shopping, museums, theater, movies, restaurants, picnicking, groceries, etc. are all a stones throw away. The house is in a quiet location and family friendly, with over 3000 sq.ft. of living space. Visitors to Meadowsedge enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable screened in porch and the artwork and library are there for all.
