Waterfall cabin is a romantic one bedroom, one bath redwood shake cabin with lodge decor, Franklin wood stove and open beamed ceilings. Large picture windows on the south and east sides provide natural light and views that distinguish it from other mountain cabins.The cabin is in a private location on 1 1/2 acres and not within a mountain community. There a is one other cabin on the neighboring property but it is not visible from this cabin. It is within the Sequoia National Monument at 3800ft elevation with a breathtaking view of the Sierra to the east and an expansive view of the valley (sometimes to the Coast Ranges) to the west. It has a spacious 'tree house' deck with bar-b-cue for outdoor relaxation. . A stunning waterfall and series of pools carved out of solid granite bedrock is located just behind the cabin.

Waterfall cabin is located on Bear Creek Road within the Sequoia National Monument and 10 miles from the quaint village of Springville. Drive 8 miles farther up the mountain and drive, hike, ski or horseback to ancient giant Sequoia groves and idyllic mountain lakes. Take the scenic route up Yokohl Valley Road to Exeter for a day of antiquing and mural touring in their historic downtown. Don't miss our Springville Rodeo in late April, 2006 and our famous Apple Festival food and craft fair mid-October, 2006. Late April through early May is apple blossom season for driving tours through the local apple and pear orchards.
