Location/Climate: Although centrally positioned the apartment is quiet. There is immediate access to the many facilities of the internationally renowned Puerto Banus. The port has an attractive marina, extensive beaches and a huge choice of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes. The famous ' El Corte Ingles' department store with its ground floor Hypermarket is situated very close to the apartment complex. Puerto Banus is an all year round resort. Average temperatures range from 61 degrees in January to 85 degrees in August. Marbella is only 7 kms away.
Local Interest/Travel/Languages: Nearby there are a number of top class golf courses to be played, some flood lit all within 5 minutes drive. There are 8 Golf courses within 6 kms and 40 within 25kms. Ronda and Gibraltar(for tax-free shopping) are very popular and are within 1 hours drive. The ferry to Tangiers is also only 45mins away. SHOPPING:-PUERTO BANUS HAS A FANTASTIC RANGE OF SHOPPING FROM TRADITIONAL SPANISH wares to designer shops such as Gucci, Versace, La Perla, Mango, Zara which are all represented but don’t worry if all you want is a tee-shirt try Poco Loco , all tastes and budgets are catered for in Puerto Banus. El Corte Ingles is a large department store and is a mixture of our John Lewis, Waitrose and Harrods, has to be seen to be believed. The new Marina Banus centre offers an excellent range of boutiques . Like most of Spain the shops don’t close until 10pm so plenty of time to shop. Every Saturday at the Centro Plaza (a short walk from the apartment) is a fabulous and huge market.
Travel: Puerto banus is a 40 minute drive from Malaga airport. Scheduled flights are available by phone or internet and go from many UK airports. Chartered flights can be accessed by teletext,internet or your local travel agent.We can help you with your travel arrangements. Taxi pick up can be arranged from the airport at Malaga with an English speaking driver at competitive rates. Car hire can be booked through a reliable English company. Guest Book: Three of us stayed in the apartment, including a 1 year old child, and it met all of our needs. The apartment exceeded our expectations - it was very spacious, including a large, secure patio area outside; it was equipped with all the necessary household items; and most importantly it had Sky TV! It is a perfect environment for children with plenty of things to entertain them,and is located right next to the beach and shopping facilities. Can't wait to return!
