Casa per Prete: The house was built on medieval foundations and many interesting features relating to its former use, have been retained and restored. There is a tiny balcony on the roof, like a 'crow's nest', with 360 degree views all around, and a secret spy-hole from the house into the church. The most recent project has been, to bring back into use the original wood-burning bread oven which is built into the outside wall of the house.
Le Marche: Le Marche is a relatively undiscovered region of Italy with unspoilt hilltop towns, and many opportunities to experience traditional Mediterranean life and culture. It caters for a variety of interests, from art and festivals to sport and beaches. Throughout the season many villages have their own eating events or 'Sagre', celebrating local food such as cheese, wine and truffles. For music-lovers there are festivals in the region, with music ranging from jazz to open-air opera. The famous Frasassi Caves are just half an hour's drive from the house.
