One bedroom, 2 bathrooms, deluxe sofa bed in living room. Main living area on ground floor with large, balcony bedroom upstairs. Travertine marble flooring or natural oak throughout. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, hob and oven. High spec building with top quality, comfortable, Italian designer furniture. Underfloor heating, high definition TV, DVD, CD player, stereo system. Air conditioning. Top restaurants within 5 minutes. Convenient location, one vaporetto stop to San Marco. 3 minutes to local food shops, 5 minutes to vaporetto. Local contact. Quiet, tranquil escape from the crowds. Use of private gym with sauna, jacuzzi available. Minimum 3 nights. Not suitable for small children. Sorry, no pets. Strictly no smoking. Everyone loves the quality and location of this apartment.

Very near the famous Cipriani Hotel and the Bauer Palazzo. Very near to some of the very best restaurants in Venice. Private water taxi stop in front of apartment. Lido, glass factories on Murano, lace making on Burano and atmospheric Torcello within easy reach. Excellent transport links by rail or plane from Venice. Many ferries to Croatia and Greece.

Notes: Older children welcome. The stairs up to the altana roof terrace are quite steep. There is ample seating and room for sunbathing on the private roof terrace which has sun all day long and into the evening. The terrace is quiet and has panoramic views over the water. Sun umbrella and small table. It is the perfect place to enjoy a drink after a day of sightseeing. It is possible to use the fabulous, Olympic sized swimming pool at the Cipriani Hotel nearby for a daily fee or the pool and spa at the new Hilton Stucky Hotel. There are several bars and very good local restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood is very Venetian with not many tourists. Local shops only 2 minutes away and an excellent local fish market a 10 minute walk. The apartment has a lovely atmosphere, very relaxing and safe with lots of open space, away from the crowds but only 5 minutes from San Marco.
