Podere Scopeto is a farmhouse villa with a main building and a separate self-contained studio sleeping max 12 standing at about 600m with outstanding views towards the west overlooking the classic chianti woods and vineyards in the area of Gaiole (15 min) in triangle Siena, Florence and Arezzo adjoining the classic supertuscan producing wineries like Brolio, Castello Meleto, Coltibuono with horizon view of Radda and Castellina. Large saltwater pool with spacious sun terraces and pergolas offer our guests boyant relaxation, but for the more energetic there are miles of woods and hills to walk in beyond the 30 privately owned acres surrounding the house. Huge BBQ with enough chairs and tables to seat 24 comfortably on one of three terraces, more secluded hammocks and picnic places under the shade of our olives and sweet chestnuts. Reliable crystal clear water from our own well and faultless heating and plumbing system newly installed. 2 fireplaces cheer our winter visitor.

Nearer at hand, the great houses of our area hold frequent concerts, the markets towns, gems like Radda, Volpaia, Castellina, Greve offer their summer fieste, wineries with thier world-famous labels invite you to sample their wine and new olive oil . Hikers, bicyclists and horse riders can make thier own way along the high level paths and rides of the Chianti hills savouring the pine scented breezes. As one of our guests said last year: 'We have been in paradise'.

A deposit of Euro 500 for a week's stay covers cost of maid, the cleaning of the linen, breakages and gas and electricity. The balance of the deposit will be reimbursed within 3 weeks of departure in any currency desired.
