La Maison d'Estelle is a south-facing 200 year old house situated on the edge of the village with wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards and wooded hills. The house has recently been subject to a complete restoration by local craftsmen. The accommodation is of an exceptionally high standard and includes 5 bedrooms (3 doubles, one with its own terrace and 2 with single beds). The fully equipped kitchen makes light work of self-catering and for dining the long old farmhouse table copes easily with 10 people. French doors lead onto the main terrace with fabulous views of the valley below. There are 2 sitting rooms, one elegantly cool, quiet and comfortable; the other perfect for the younger generation with a TV/DVD/VHS player. The 10 x 5m pool has a stone paving surround and a shady sun terrace. There is a fridge & plenty of comfortable sun loungers for relaxing & and a boule court and table tennis for fun. A large barbecue is provided in this spacious and private garden

Salazac is a small, typically provençal 14th century hilltop village surrounded by unspoilt countryside. LaMaison d'Estelle is perfectly positioned for you to enjoy all the varied activities that this area has to offer. For example, ramblers pass our gates on a recognised rambling route. For tennis fans, there are first class courts a short drive away in St Julien de Peyrolas. Canoes, horses and bikes can be hired locally. Wine lovers can visit local producers. The nearby hilltop villages of La Roque sur Cèze and Cornillon are simply beautiful and a visit should not be missed. Goudargues with is waterways, village shops and restaurants has so much to offer. There are weekly markets in many of the nearby towns and villages. A visit to Uzès on a Saturday morning is a must! Sites of cultural interest close by include the famous Pont du Gard, the Roman amphitheatres of Orange and Nîmes, the Palais des Papes in Avignon and the Chartreuse de Valbonne. And the coast is only an hour away.

The master bedroom has its own private terrace and features a particularly lovely Victorian style bathroom en suite. The property may accommodate ten people. Lower floor: Kitchen with dining table. Summer dining terrace. Lounge with stone fireplace. Living room with TV and video. 'Chambre Jaune' double bed 160 cms, shower and washbasin. WC' Chambre du Maitre,' double bed 160 cms, terrace looking over the garden. Bathroom en suite with shower, WC and beautiful old style bath tub. Laundry room. Upper floor: 'Chambre vert' twin beds, en suite shower and WC. 'Chambre lavande' double bed 160 cms. Bathroom and WC. 'Chambre bleue' twin beds. Store room. Garden with plenty of parking space.

Covered terrace with tables and chairs for 10 people, ideal for lingering, poolside lunches in the sunshine or shade. 10 sun-loungers provided complete with mattresses to keep your tan topped up.First floor terrace with spectacular views, table and chairs for 10 people. Have dinner here and then watch the sun set over the distant hills, magical. To keep you on your toes we have our new gym plus a table tennis table in another cave. Less energy consuming, but fun try a game of boules played on the boules court under the trees in the garden. A large BBQ is provided, and a fridge in the pool room for cold, refreshing drinks. Finally, there is plenty of enclosed parking space.
