Details for Winter and summer dream 1

Winter dream 1 is the “flagship” of the other 3 “winter dream” houses. The house is top quality furnished to the smallest detail. The kitchen is equipped with “Miele” devices that would make the cooking a pleasure. For music lovers, there is a B & O stereo system. For TV and movie lovers, there is a satellite TV set and a DVD player with a big film collection from Ben Hur to Harry Potter. The decoration consists of designer furniture, combined with aesthetical Finnish massive furniture. The heating is managed by a thermostat. The designer soapstone fireplace creates a special atmosphere. There is a large sauna and a neighbouring lounge, with a further fireplace. It is ideal for reading, TV watching, dreaming.

Rate information for this Lapland villa rental

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • The conditions from November, 13th until April, 4th are valid for 2 people and include the basic package. Included are the welcome dinner, the food package, 2 guided half day trips, lunch by the fire (dog sled and snowmobile trips), complete cross country skiing equipment and polar clothing, all the additional costs and final cleaning, concierge service through the Finish advisors. Services in the summer: instructions, Canadian canoe, towels and linen, unlimited sauna usage, final cleaning and all the electricity costs.
  • The prices are valid for 2 people. Extra costs for 3 to 8 people are: between November, 13th and December 18th and from April, 3rd until April, 30th 640,- € respectively (including all the tourist guided tours and services). Further prices from December, 18th until January, 9th 920,- €, respectively, from January, 9th until February, 12th 790,- €, respectively, and from February, 12th until April, 3rd 860,- € respectively. Costs for further guests in the summer: early season (May, 1st - May, 20th), for 3 to 8 people, 145,- € per person, main season 1 (June, 24th – August, 5th), for 3 to 8 guests, 155,- € per person, main season 2 (August, 5th – September, 16th), for 3 to 8 guests, 165,- € per person, for low season (October, 7th – November, 25th), for 3 to 8 guests, 125,- € per person.
  • Children up to 4 are our guests for free. Children between 4 and 14 have a 50 % discount.

Notes: In the winter, the guests will be greeted with a welcome dinner. They also receive a food package. Further dinners are to be booked. Included in the price are 3 tours (husky sleds, reindeer sleds and snowmobile). At this, a lunch by the open fireplace will be served. The furnishing and equipment are up to high standards (designer furniture, B & O stereo system, kitchen with Miele devices, Saeco espresso machine, DVD-player with big, top quality film collection). In the master bathroom, there is a Jacuzzi for 2 people. We also put a polar and a cross country skiing equipment at your disposal. The houses are managed by a Finnish couple, who speak German and English, and there are other co-workers as well. You can have hotel-standard service, on request and for a certain price.

Further details about this villa rental

Arrival: You can go via Helsinki by Finnair to Kittilä (alternative airport Rovaniemi is approx. 200 km away.), and by renting car or shuttle, approx. 50 km from the airport to the Winter dream houses. In the summer, you go by ferry from Travemünde or Rostock to Helsinki. Further on, you can take the motorail train to Kolari or Rovaniemi. Over the country way, you can go via Denmark or Sweden. (From Hamburg, there are approx. 2500 km.)

Ski: This is a cross country skiing paradise (approx. 120 km of well kept cross country ski runs), with snow until the beginning of May. The illuminated cross country ski runs in Olos (aapprox. 15 minutes by car) and Jeris (approx. 10 minutes by car) are very beautiful. Directly in front of the “winter dream” houses, there is a private cross country ski run of approx. 12 km (suitable weather provided. However, it cannot be used when windy). Cross country skiing equipment is available. Levi- Finland’s largest ski region is only a 30 minute drive away (over 20 slopes, from blue to black, i.e. all levels of proficiency). Levi corresponds to the standards of many ski resorts in the Alps. More comfortable, but still with numerous ski slopes is Ylläas (30 minutes away). The most quiet ski resorts are Olos (approx. 15 minutes away), with 3 ski lifts and Pallas (in the middle of the National Park), with 2 lifts (approx. 20 minutes away). Alpine equipments can be rented in any ski region.
