You're in the heart of London but away from the crowds! The British Museum is 10 min and Battersia Park is across the river ,West End with its fabulous shopping (Oxford St, Regent St), theatres, art galleries and landmarks (Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben) is also close by. Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping is an easy walk. Heading east, you can stroll around the City of London, Europe's financial centre with its famous buildings (St Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin, Tower of London, Wren churches). To the South, the London Eye, Tate Modern and South Bank. For children, the Battersea park, a delightful park with swings, slides, climbing frames, sand pit, a Zoo and astro turf football pitches. Nearest tube stations are Pimlico & Sloane Square.
Directions: Getting her It is an easy journey from London Heathrow to Grosvenor Road, as the local tube (subway) service runs directly from the airport. It is only a 6 min walk to the apartment from the station. From other London airports (Gatwick, Stansted, Luton or City airports), you can take the train into the centre of London and make a short tube or taxi journey to the apartment. Victorisa station have direct coach service from Stansted airport and about one hour travel.We will send you full directions when you book. We can also arrange for a car to collect you from the airport. Prices start at £45 from Heathrow. Getting here by rail: Rail is a fifteen minute walk from the mainline stations, Victoria It is a short bus ride from London Bridge and Waterloo station. Paddington is a tube ride away. If you stay for more than a week, the price includes a weekly cleaner and a change of bed and bath linen. • You can gain access to the apartment at 2pm on the first day of your stay. If you plan to arrive earlier, please let us know and if the property is ready, you will be able to move in at an earlier time. If it is not ready, there is a secure place for you to leave luggage. On the day of departure, please leave before 10am. This can sometimes be extended by arrangement.
