San Andres is a very small island in Caribbean Sea, only 11 km long. Located 180 kilometers East of Nicaragua, and 480 km north of the Colombian coast. Until 1822, it was a British colony, it now belongs to Colombia. There are two official languages here; Spanish and English. Famous pirate Henry Morgan made this island his headquarters. According to some stories, he hid a great treasure in the cave in San Andres, but so far no one has found it. (source: waterrealm.com)
