Dun Eystein cottage (pronounced 'Dun Esh'-ten') is a lovely summer home on the shore of beautiful St. Ann's Harbour. The cottage on a 2 1/2 acre site with 1700' shore frontage has spectacular views of the harbour. Centrally located on the world famous Cabot Trail, Baddeck is 15 minutes, Ingonish is 45 minutes & the Gaelic College is 5 minutes away. Sydney and the historic fort at Louisbourg are only short trips away as well. Plan your day with sightseeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, boat tours, kayaking or golfing at two of the top rated golf courses in Canada. In the evening attend some of the local suppers, ceilidhs (Scottish parties) or concerts. Attend the events at the nearby Gaelic College including the world famous Celtic Colours International Festival in the Fall. But most of all just sit on the front porch and feel the contentment & serenity that creeps into you as you gaze out over the water.

Notes: The large one storey home has a warm comfortable feel including a variety of antiques and art work. The living room, kitchen & formal dining room have an open concept plan allowing views from the large casement windows overlooking the harbour. The living room has two fireplaces one at each end of the room. Included for enjoyment are satellite television and a combined CD/DVD player with surround sound. The kitchen is fully equipped including dish washer and beautiful Heartland cook stove. Off the kitchen are a separate pantry with microwave and a laundry room with automatic washer & dryer. The master bedroom is separated from the living room by a front entry way. The second bedroom & bathroom are down a hall from the kitchen. A large front covered porch with deck chairs overlooks the harbour. On the back is another covered porch with BBQ & patio set.
