Alt. route: Passau – Ried autobahn, then via Frankenburg – Vöcklamarkt to St.Georgen / Berg. Regensburg to Berg is about 200 km. Arriving from Switzerland: Zurich via Feldkirch, Arlberg, Innsbruck, Kufstein, Salzburg, St.Georgen / Berg. Zürich to Berg is about 520 km. Driving time is about six hours, all autobahn. Alternative: take the Innsbruck autobahn to the Wörgl-Ost exit, the highway via Lofer to Salzburg, then the Autobahn towards Linz / Vienna. After 50 km, take the St. Georgen / Berg exit. Distance about 510 km. Motorail train: travel comfortably to the Salzburg train station, take the autobahn towards Linz / Vienna, exit at St. Georgen / Berg. By train: long-distance train to Salzburg, then local train to Vöcklamarkt, then via the small-gauge railway to the St. Georgen station. Next airport: Salzburg 50 km, Munich: 190 km.
